Schleppe aus Brautkleid entfernen

Hallo zusammen!

Ich habe beschlossen aus meinem Brautkleid ein Kommunionkleid für meine Tochter zu nähen.

Kann mir jemand einen Tipp geben, wie ich die Schleppe aus meinem Kleid entferne? Ich dachte, dass ich die hintere Naht auftrenne und dann von der hinteren Mitte bis zum Saum gerade runter nähe.
